Sorry if you guys are getting sick of my posts, I think I am getting obsessive with this hurricane.

"As a result of the potential impact of Hurricane Francis, America West will allow customers to change their reservations as outlined below:

For passengers ticketed for travel between September 3 and September 6, 2004 the $100 change fee is waived if the passenger is traveling to/from Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Miami, Tampa. Travel must be rebooked and completed by November 15th, 2004. Customers will be required to pay any difference in fares if applicable.

To rebook, customers should call 800-2-FLY-AWA (800-235-9292). "

That's the right thing to do. I hope others will follow suit.

I also read SWA web site re flight changes. I hope it doesn`t have too much of a domino effect on their other flights. I have a SWA flight attendant (a friend) coming in to Columbus on Sun. morning to pick up my niece and fly her to Buffalo where her parents will pick her up and take her home to Toronto. I don`t think I could stand another day with a 7 year old!!!.....jean

:) Good luck, Jean. It would be a 'bit trying' to find her stay is to be extended. They have such energy....hard to keep up with the kids.

Has anyone heard if AA is following suit and 'doing the right thing'?

No we are not getting tired of your posts.

You have every right to be nervous and upset over hurricane Frances and what impact it is having on your flight and cruise.

We are hear to listen.

Lithium......We'd all feel the same way as you if we were scheduled to cruise this weekend.

Please keep us posted as the time gets closer what you decide to do. What HAL advises you?

Fingers crossed that miracuously it all works out for you.

i changed my ticket with American Airlines yesterday for no extra charge(flying out a day earlier in case of flight cancellation) however only the day before they wanted to charge me $100 to change plus the extra cost of what the ticket would have cost ( from california it went up from $240 round trip to $ 1200) so if you need to change your schedule you are allowed at this point to make one change at no charge.

Anyone know if Port Everglades will even be open on Saturday? i had read a post on here yesterday that said it could close, HAL is still saying the cruise is going to go and at least they now have a Hurricane Update on the website and a toll free # for updates.

See You On The Ship???

It seems that port everglades closed this morning to all incoming traffic. IMHO, there is no way it will be open on Saturday. They are bracing for one of the worst storms they have ever seen. I think they will be lucky to even be open by Sunday.
