Is there anyway to check shipboard credits on HAL.com if you booked thru an agency?

No, there is not.

Too bad, all the other lines that we sail with - Royal Caribbean, Oceania, and Princess, let you put in your booking number and have your cruise info ( other than payments) online.

Yes, it would be nice to see all your info there. I also believe at this point you can't see all your bookings unless you booked directly with HAL. Hopefully they will get that going soon.

I think you can only see your booking if you booked online with HAL. I cancelled our online booking and rebooked with HAL on the phone when there was a price decrease, and now I can't access the new booking online.
I suppose there is no need to -- it's just one of those compulsive things!

My TA provides the HAL booking number on my invoice so I can get access.

This is correct. We booked through HAL, but with a PCC. I have the booking number, but still can't see the reservation online.

I booked with a TA. I can see enough of my booking at HAL to be able to check in and purchase shore excursions. It also has my cabin number listed. This is sufficient for me -- what else would I want to see?

It would be nice to be able to see onboard credit ahead of time, especially since my mother purchased credit for us as a gift. However, we have a confirmation number from her, so we will check once we are onboard.
Can the status of your onboard account be checked from your stateroom? When I was on Celebrity, you could do this over the in-cabin TV.

For those that didn't book thru HAL, I don't know why you can't see your booking on their website. I didn't book thru them and I can see mine. You do have to register with them first (user ID, PW). Maybe that's the problem? :confused:Happy Sailing!

Yes, everyone can see their cruise and cabin # by using their booking code. But those who book directly thru the web site get to see a lot more...

What else do you need to see besides your book # and cabin assignment? I'm confused about the benefit of this feature when booking direct. Happy Sailing!

The Guest Confirmation statement I got from my TA tells all the information regarding cost, discounts, taxes charged, fuel supplement and ON Board Credit.
It has our cabing number, makeup of room, confirmed dining time. We are ready bring on May 26.

I get all of that information on my invoice/confirmation from my TA, which includes my booking number. With that number I can see all my info on the HAL site. I found out 2 days ago that my guarantee cabin was assigned, way before my TA found out!

Where exactly on HAL's web site are you plugging in this information?

If you register on the HAL site, and then go to "For Booked Guests", you can click on "online checkin". You need your booking number for this. (You will want to do this anyway to get your Signature Boarding Pass to expedite embarkation) At the top of the checkin page you see your cabin number and other details.
