Oosterdam, Has Anyone Returned Recently

We will be sailing on the O in early May and I was just wondering if anyone had recently sailed on her. Is she in good condition, how was the food, etc. We are taking her to Alaska and can't wait.

Having sailed on the MS Oosterdam last November I can assure you that she's still in pristeen condition. Food is subjective but we thought it was very good as evidenced by the weight gain we still are trying to loose.

DH and I were on the Oosterdam January 5-12 and had a great time once we got on board (there was a delay on embarkation day due to a total scrub down following a norovirus outbreak). We enjoyed the AYW Dining and the ship was in good condition. Enjoy your cruise.

I was on the Oosterdam from San Diego to Mexico in January and she was GORGEOUS as ever. Clean and gleaming. You will LOVE your Alaska cruise. OOOHHHH... The Hubbard Glacier! HEAVEN. Have two baked brie appetizers for me.. and enjoy the cold blueberry soup and all the wonderful salmon.

I'm sailing to Alaska on HAL for the 5th time this summer, but I'll be on the Westerdam. I love the Westie but her Alaska itinerary is my second choice (Glacier Bay rather than Hubbard) - Yours is even better! ENJOY!!

We just returned from the Oosterdam earlier this month. She is in beautiful condition. Although everyone has different tastes, we thought the food was wonderful. We always found something, sometimes several things, on the menu that we wanted for dinner. The deserts are delicious too! Here is the link to my review:
