Hello Cruise Lovers!
Does anyone know if the Zuiderdam is out of dry-dock and sailing again? I'm anxious to hear how she looks and about the changes!
Any info is appreciated!

I'm sure she is out of dry dock, but I hope she has been tested.
I'll also be on her tomorrow...

Yes, do keep us informed. I am sailing on the Zuiderdam out of Barcelona on May 20. First cruise with HAL.

Hope that one of the post dry dock CC passengers can settle a question that's been the subject of several posts:
At the CC reception on the last Zuiderdam cruise before dry dock, the Hotel Manager definitely informed the group of several dozen CCers that one of the changes would be that Queens Lounge would no longer be used for movies and that a separate screening room would be installed. We didn't dream this!
On the other hand, a regular poster insists that no screening room was planned, noting correctly that none was added on Westerdam and none is shown on the most recent deck plans.
So, who/which is correct - the Hotel Manager or the deck plans?Hope somebody now on the ship will let us know and put this matter to rest.

Unless HAL has ripped out the Library to add space to the shops - IMO, there's no way that HAL would forego the additional revenue from more shops for a screening room on Zuiderdam
I'd be willing to bet the HM was referring to Eurodam as regards the screening room.

On the New Year's cruise the HM did not mention a screening room when describing the dry dock changes... I'm just glad that what he described as the reason for the uneven, wavy hallways - faulty concrete under the carpet - was going to be replaced.
She's quite a ship that Zuiderdam and I hope the enhancements do indeed enhance her!
