DISNEY MAGIC is currently docked in Galveston, Texas. Interesting as there is no mention of this unscheduled stop on the Disney website. I wonder if the passengers are able to permanently disembark, or are being told to wait until Monday and Pt. Canaveral which is when the Disney states the cruise will end?

Read over on the Carnival board that the Magic is in Galveston only to replunish supplies then will go back out til monday. Hopefully they will be able to return on monday the 6th.

my sister & crew are on that ship! They are supposedly replenicshing fuel, etc and then going back out til Monday when they we go back to Canaveral (hopefully!)

Since the hurricane has slowed down, I wouldn't be surprised if the Magic had to wait until Tuesday to dock at Port Canaveral.

The Magic DID allow passengers to permanently disembark in Galveston if they wanted to do so, and apparently about 500-600 of them did.

I heard about it on the Houston news and missed watching it leave on the web cam!

we went all the way to galveston to see it leave...and missed it!!!!!!I mean how many times is the Disney magic in Galveston??
Kids where so disappointed!

The latest news is that the Magic will now depart on Tuesday on a 4-night cruise. I don't know if this means that the Magic will return tomorrow or Tuesday.

Port canaveral must not be open yet. The Magic and Wonder are to dock in Port Everglades (Ft. Lauderdale) late this tonight and depart tomorrow.
