We are on Azamara Copenhagen to Norway cruise beginning July 19. Wondering if anyone wants to join us arranging for private tours, particularly in Oslo? We are just beginning to think about doing some research. ddcruiser

We recently booked this cruise and haven't done any research yet, but we may be interested in sharing a private tour. There will be two of us.

My husband and I will also be on this cruise. We're open to the possibility of doing a private tour. What areas of Oslo do you plan to focus on? We would like to visit the Vigeland Sculpture Park. Please keep up posted. You can contact us directly at actman@mac.com. Thanks.:)

We spent a whole morning in Vigeland Sculpture Park in Oslo. We used public transport to get there on our own and did not need a guide there or anywhere else in northern Europe (excepting St. Petersburg). You'll find nearly everyone speaks English and it's not hard to find your way around.
Enjoy the sculptures. We did!

We are still deciding whether to just take public transport in Oslo or to book a guide. Have heard the city is easy to navigate. Any further thoughts would be appreciated. ddcruiser

Hi ddcruiser,
Scroll down to the "Ports of Call" section of this board and hit on "Europe". When Europe comes up, hit on "Europe and Baltics". Put Oslo in the search mode at the top of that page and all kinds of info will come up. Happy reading!!!!
