Hello,
I have serval questions in regard to a HAL cruisetour we have booked for July 2005. Hopefully someone out there has taken the same tour (#14) which started in Fairbanks and ended with a southbound cruise. Some things are not clear from HAL's literature.
1. Upon arrival in Fairbanks - is a HAL representative on hand to meet us?
2. Is there some sort of 1st evening get together at the hotel?
3. The tour includes a cruise on the Discovery III followed by a visit to the Gold Dredge #8. Approximately what time of day does this conclude?
4. The day we travel to Denali via train, we take the Tundra Wilderness tour. Again, approximately what time does this tour end?
5. When we travel to Anchorage, at about what time do we arrive?
6. According to the literature, the next day we travel to Seward to board the ship. Do we have time to do somthing on our own?
