I just went online to look at the available shore excursions for my 9/12 Alaska cruise - and the site says that online bookings are closed.

Does this mean that there are no more excursions available at all?

(Sigh)

Brian, I think it is because you are too close to your sailing date.

I believe they close it 10 days before the cruise.

When you get to your cabin there will be a form to fill out for Shore Excursions. Complete it and drop it in the box located in front of the Shorex Office.

A lot of people don't realize that the on-line shore excursion form is closed about 10 days from your sail your date.

But you can still cancel an excursion by refering to the e-mail address that is listed on the print out that you get e-mailed to you.

Can you book shore excursions by using the "interactive" feature on the TV in your stateroom????

It's been 3 years since we were on a HAL ship and I don't remember being able to do it then .... BUT there have been lots of changes.

Happy Sailing! OCruisers :)

If I recall correctly Brian you are sailing on the Amsterdam.

Unfortunatly there is no interactive tv feature you can use to book the shore trips, but as stated when you reach your stateroom there will be an excursion form on your desk. Fill out the form and return it asap to the shore excursion desk and I bet you will be good to go !!

Good luck
