Live from the Statendam May 19

Great weather so far. Saturday a Sunny Sailaway. Sunday Foggy in the am, Sunny in the Afternoon. Monday Sunny all Day. Great Food and Service and Ship.

I am in the Public Library in Juneau, steps from the gangway. Free internet. Will give another report later in the week if I can find another connection.

Hopefully now the weather Tide has turned in Alaska!!!!

FYI Mt. Roberts tram - all the trails up top are still closed due to snow & dangerous hiking conditions.

I'm not due to sail on the Statendam until November of 2009 but would love to hear all about the ship. Any details you can provide would be wonderful and pictures too:D if possible when you get back.

Enjoy Alaska. We loved it. Our first cruise was there on the Noordam.
