i know 5020 and 5520 for sure are the non-connecting ones. I'm thinking 5522 & 5524 are connecting and 5022 and 5024 are connecting. Check out barb's website at castawayclub.com for pictures of these cabins.

5020, 5022, 5024, 5520, 5522, 5524.
5022 and 5024 are connectors, as are 5522 and 5524.

These are not such a secret anymore :) so they are the first Cat 10's to be booked usually. You can go on a waitlist for one though.

The pics are on my website at www.castawayclub.com
The best ones view-wise seem to be 5020 and 5520 (since they are not adjoiners, they also have less noise potential).

I managed to reserve two of the connecting rooms - either 5022 & 5024 or 5522 & 5524. Now I'm concerned about the noise from the elevators.
Does anyone know how much noise you can hear in the rooms closest to the elevator? Will it be loud enough to disturb your sleep?
Thanks!

you might want to check out http://www.dcltribute.com/dave's website has a list of "noisy" rooms. i don't think the spr's are listed as noisy, but i do recall reading some posts on the disboards about the types of noise people experienced in the spr's. from what i've read, if you get one of the connectors, try to get both. this is because there is a connecting door and you can hear noise through the door, so its better if that is someone in your party. i also read that on the last night, some people in the spr's could hear all the room stewards across the hall dealing with all the luggage. i've never heard of noise from the elevators though.

Noise from the elevators should not be a problem at ALL in those rooms, they are down the hall in an area with very little traffic.
Enjoy! :)
