on the 7 night Magic which night is best for Palo?

Which resturant would you miss to do Palo? Would you do your rotation 1st then have dinner at Palo's on say the 4th night? Which night does AP not change color's? is it the 1st rotation or the 2nd?

You might want to ask this on the DIS boards...many cruisers who have cruised DCL multiple times. Most say to skip Parrot Cay and also book the Palo brunch and tea. Check them out! There's lots of info there!

Definately go to the brunch. The food is plentiful and delicious... also you can enjoy the view from the restaurant during the daylight hours. I enjoyed the brunch much more than I did the dinner.

Your 1st time is AP will be the "show".When you check in at the port your KTTW card will have your rotation on it. Have a 1st and 2nd choice for Palo then when you get your card you will be able to plan your dinner at Palo.

We did Palo on the first night at sea, so we had already eaten once at Animator's and once at Parot Cay. We skipped the first night of Lumiere's for Palo's but ate there the second time. The show in Animator's was only the first night. We also skipped Parot Cay one night to eat in port. So we did Animator's, Parot Cay, Palo's (instead of Lumiere's), Animator's, Hard Rock Cozumel (instead of Parot Cay), Lumiere's. Palo's was definately worth missing Lumiere's, especially since you just get to eat there again anyway. But I wouldn't miss the first Animator's.

The best night for Palo is Thursday- lobster night. The first night in Antimator's would be the night that the colors will change. My least favorite restaurant is Parrot Cay. You can always change your dining rotation when you make your Palo reservation with one of the head dining room attendants who will be in Rockin Bar D at that time.

I found that the first night at Palos was the best. I did this on both of my Disney cruises and it was wonderful! Started the trip out right! As for AP it changes everynight, not just one night. I attended dinner 2 nights on one of my cruises and both nights it was the same. Dont miss AP it was so magical! If you need to miss one eatery I would choose Lumieres. I really enjoyed Parrot Cay...very tropical and festive. Have a good trip.
