LET ME no is my fist ship :)

Probably; but no one will now for sure for at least another month!

On several past cruises we've had it offered in the dining room at least one night, but on the Amsterdam last month only an imitation caviar was available as an appetizer, one night. They billed it as low-cholesterol! :D It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either.

Maybe the suite parties get the real thing.

The suite parties do in fact have caviar and it is of a good grade. We also arranged to have caviar in our stateroom and once at the bar. It was VERY reasonable, around $35.00, and came with all the extras.

Oddly enough, the very best caviar service that I have yet to have at sea was on Disney. Great quality with exceptional extras.

At the suite lunches we have not always had the caviar. But when it is there, it is no the Beluga kind -- but what they do offer is very good.

Forgive my ignorance but what is a "suite lunch"? Is it for all suites or just certain categories?

Caviar seems to have died several years ago. Its a shame since I have always enjoyed it. I'm talking about the Beluga or Segovia, small black caviar and not the roe from salmon. Twenty years ago they had a great ice turin at the entrance to the dining room and the Matre De would put a tea spoon full on each plate, with all the trimmings. Those days are gone and I doubt that they will ever come back. Sad but true

I don't know if HAL is offering it at the present time. We had it in our cabin on NCL that was quite good and a very nice service and on X in their champagne bar. I never had in Segovia as I haven't been to Spain yet but have had sevruga, osetra and beluga.
