Cocktail Party

I was wondering if you stay in an S suite does the Captain have a cocktail party the first night? I know we had one on the O last year. Because of the different dinning times, do they still do this and what time would it begin? Thanks

Yes. It was held at 7:15 on our recent Maasdam cruise (and it was great). We always enjoy those parties.

On our recent Alaska cruise, we attended a cocktail party for suite passengers in the piano bar, the captains cocktail party in the card room, The captain's lunch on the last cruise day in the crow's nest. We also attended a mariner's award cocktail party on Wednesday Afternoon in the Vermeer lounge. We were not supposed to be there as this was our first cruise ever.

We have had cocktail parties the first night in several different locations and at various times.

There will be an invitation in your cabin when you get on the ship.

Yes, there is usually one the first sail away evening. I recall them all being around 7-7:30 PM, as well as on other evenings (usually sea days).
