Cocktail Party

I was just wondering if the Captain still has a cocktail party for the S cabin guests on the first night aboard the ship? I know we had one the first night on the O last year. Because of the 4 different dinning times, maybe they don't do this anymore. If they do., what time was it on the first night? Thanks

yes they do, we were on the Zuiderdam in July and it was held in the Neptune Lounge; I believe it was from 4-6 so that everyone could attend regardless of your dining time.

Cocktail party for suites---

We used to have them around 7:15 - 7:30 and it lasted to about 8:15.

How can you have a cocktail party for suite passengers 4 - 6 PM when there is a life boat drill at 4:15???

It was not on the first night. I believe they changed it because of the dining times

Just off the O'dam 10 days ago, and yes, they did have a first night cocktail party for S guests. It was in the Neptune and as I recall it was from 6:30 to 8. It was well attended, lots of fun, with quiet "live" guitar music playing. And super nibbles!.

That was a long time for a suite party. On all the ships that we have been on, the suite party was from 7:30 - 8:15 - even on the Maasdam this past May when the new dining times were begun.
