I enjoyed the earlier, abbreviated review and now the full one.
The fact that you had a wonderful time in an inside cabin for three, while traveling with a relative in a wheelchair, proves the point that a cruise is what you make of it.
Thanks again for all the helpful information.

Brad, can you tell me how you booked the Suite Amenity Pkg since it indicates for Deluxe Suites only? It sounds great and I don't recall even seeing the cost.

I was wondering this as well. I thought maybe I was misunderstanding something so I'm glad you asked this. Thanks.

The suite amenity package was $399.00 for 2 people for a 7-10 day cruise.
The items and package are listed on the gift order forms, but just like with the well-being package, the number of people and length of the cruise make the difference.
Although there were 3 of us, the only main changes would have been a 3rd bathrobe, coffee card and PG dinner. As we didn't need another bathrobe and it was hard enough trying to use up TWO coffee cards, I'd say we made the right choice :)

Hi Bob, hope that reply helps.
I think you're the one that emailed me about it and I was replying via Blackberry. I hit the wrong buttons a couple times and it was acting up a little.

How did you get "A bottle of Champagne from the Hotel Manager and Captain"? Was this a purchase? I want one for embarkation but I was told they were sparkling wine, even though both Champaigne and Wine show up on the gift list for about $20.00.

Thanks, Brad. I wasn't the one that e-mailed you though. I was interested though because I assumed since the Gift List indicated this was for Suites Only that other cabin categories were excluded.

Best I can figure it was one of two things:
1) An unlisted perk that is part of the Suite Amenity Package
or
2) I received a few things through the cruise that said "Deluxe Verandah Suite 1060" when it's technically just "Stateroom 1060"...an inside room. So I think as far as the Westerdam was concerned, I turned my room into a suite that cruise.
It wasn't a separate gift purchase...

Great, great review, Brad.
So very happy what a wonderful time you all had!
It's true. A cruise, any cruise, is what you make of it and you sure made a fabulous time on yours!!!

Brad-
Did you say something about finding KK's menus and then doing a write up about the food? Or am I completely making that up (I hope I'm not!)

If you hadnt of mentioned it, I would have thought you had stayed in a deluxe suite. Sounds like you had a ball, and also that your group would have been fantastic company in the dining room. Great review...:D :D
