To all those brave men who gave up their liberties and weekend sports events to commit to marrieage to a relative stranger, then made the ultimate sacrifice by living through 9 months with a pregnant woman and surviving that. You thought it could not get worse and then she pokes you in the ribs at 2 AM in the morning and tells you it is your turn to walk the kid with COLIC for 4 hours (and no football games on the TV)

We all lived through it and survived and now we remember all the good times.

1st day at school.
High School graduation.
First time went on a date.
many many more.....

Remember we have gotten even with every one of our children for the hell they put us through as they were growing up.

WE GAVE THE THE CAPACITY TO HAVE AND RAISE MORE CHILDREN.

Now I only smile as I send the grandkids home full of chocolate and caffine and complaining of upset stomaches.....he...he...he...he

HAPPY FATHERS DAY to all that have survived.

Grab a cold been, find a comfortable seat in the shade, and reminess of the memories that will be with us forever....

Nice post, Jim..........I too survived, but am now experiencing Round 2. We have one of our daughters living back with us, and 2 grandkids to boot........Tomorrow I go to school for my 7 year old granddaughter's 'Donuts for Dad's'.........glad to do it, since her biological dead-beat Dad hasn't seen her in 4 years....................
In a few years, I'll dust off the shotgun, and get prepared for the dating ritual again..........:D
