Won anything in the Casino? If so, how much? Did you walk away with your winnings or give them right back?

I am pretty lucky, so is DH - but we don't spend alot of time gambling on board. I go in, play (usually win! :D ) and then leave.

Care to share your Casino stories?

I love the slots - such mindless entertainment :)
I have won more than $600 on a cruise at the slots and near to $400 on roulette at one sitting. I do think however that most of the slots onboard are tight unless there are lots of slot players onboard feeding the machines :)
I do better in Vegas both at the slots and at roulette................always wanted to learn craps though.
I will play the slots during our upcoming cruise but will spend the majority of my gambling money at a casino in Nassau (if we end up there afterall).

DH won $500 in slots tournament. Kept it. Basically, we broke even on the other slot games - had lots of fun and did not go over our "gambling budget". Son was ahead by about $400.

I won $300 one night at the craps table on the Carnival Spirit. My daughter forced me to play - after my husband had been teaching me at home for months. I was going to chicken out but she nagged me into it. We had a partial MAGNUM of champagne lefover from dinner that my daughter carried back and forth between my sister at the blackjack table and me at craps. It was a blast! They closed the casino early that night as the ship had to return to port with a sick passenger. We were blitzed and ready for bed anyway! But I woke up my cabin mate to show her the money I won! :D

I won $750 on the Z, on $10 , on a quarter slot. Left the ship with most of it.
DW has had great luck, seems to always win.
Last cruise, I won $125 on video poker and a couple of hundred on a $1 slot.
Best win, $200 in BINGO!!!!..

I am glad you guys/girls won or at least hadn't lost. :)

We almost never play on vacation...it's our entertainment when we are home...with Foxwoods being so close. We did participate in Black Jack competition on Zui cruise but made tactical mistake and where #8 (with 3200 points) and didn't get in. (7 players from all round get in). My advise to those who decide to participate in this event: wait for the later rounds to paly..this way you will approx. know how much you should win in order to get in.
If we do play it's only Black Jack.

Read the payout, which is posted on each and every slot, video polka machine, etc. If you compare to Nevada, you will see they pay MUCH, MUCH, less for the same "winning" hands. Buyer beware!

I have won as much as $1,000 on a cruise ship, Royal Flush, or perhaps once the 4 Deuces, also nice change, but consistently, I lose. Las Vegas pays better and is lots more fun.

I won $1200 on my first Maasdam cruise. Didn't pay much more than that for the cruise.

I won $300 on the slots on The Conquest last November and actually had the sense to wlak away with it, *LOL*

Actually I do pretty well at the slots and occasionally at roulette.

The best I ever did was hitting $1200.000 on the slots at Foxwoods Casino in CT. Where Tatka mentioned.

My DH won $1600 on the Wheel of Fortune slots on the Zuiderdam. Wonderful man that he is, he used the winnings to purchase jewelry for me!

My DW has been lucky in the shipboard casino on more than one occasion, winning $1,000 after several evenings of not winning and having lots of fun in the slots competitions.

Zuidy's craps table donated $3,600 to my "next cruise fund" but I gave $500 back the last night (all packed and nothin' else to do... those b*stards!) :p

Unfortunately, even though my bets were big enough (much bigger, actually) I didn't play long enough to get those coveted "perks" they're talkin' about
