My question concerns the Ryndam, but apparently most of the other ships present the same problem: a queen-sized bed seems to block access to the window. Is there any solution, like pushing the bed to the side, putting both night tables on one side and then the least assertive spouse crawling across the bed to enter and exit it?

Your steward will arrange the bed any way you wish. You just have to ask.

It can be pushed to one side but you may still have trouble seeing out the window.
Are you certain you have a window or a porthole?

We have sailed on her many times and find the best solution is to have the beds seperated into twins. Then one can walk right up to the window and look out. We now do this on all OV rooms we get.
Two can fit just fine on one bed for "visitation" purposes. :o :D

kakalina: At our age "visitation" is unlikely to disturb the neighbors, it's just that we get lonely.

sapper1: I can't imagine that they would move the bed away from the window and the chairs next to it, would they?
