Looking at the tracking maps, guess where Jeanne is headed? That's right. Straight toward HMC! While she's still "just" a tropical storm now, they say she can do most anything once she gets up into warmer waters toward the Bahamas. Then, it's Florida again!
We need some divine intervention here!

I'm really storm weary at this point! This has been the summer from hell this year with these storms.
I just got my power back on 2 days ago from Frances...after being totally in the dark for 10 days and now Jeanne is coming too close for comfort too!
After Jeanne passes I'm getting a generator for the future. (Maybe if I get a generator there will be no more hurricanes);)

Things are looking a bit optimistic, especially now that they have included HMC back into the schedule. Hopefully it will survive Jeanne though... :(

Due to the impacts of Hurricane Ivan, the September 18th sailing of the ms Zuiderdam has been revised, canceling the call to Grand Cayman, and adding Costa Maya, Mexico. The revised itinerary follows:

Sunday, Sept 19 Key West, FL
Monday, Sept 20 Cozumel, Mexico
Tuesday, Sept 21 Costa Maya, Mexico
Wednesday, Sept 22 at sea
Thursday, Sept 23 at sea
Friday, Sept 24 Half Moon Cay, Bahamas :)
Saturday, Sept 25 Fort Lauderdale

If they put HMC on the itinerary for next week, then maybe the 9/25 sailing will actually go there. I'm on the 9/25 sailing so I hope so. I wouldn't mind having a port replaced with Costa Maya - or even better, Belize.:D
Let's also hope that Dam Jeanne keeps losing steam, nobody needs another Dam storm, Bahamians & Floridians & everyone else included.
From the tracking maps on wunderground.com, it does look like Tropical Depression 12 is going to take a right and stay out in the middle of the Atlantic. Could it be possible that all of our prayers are starting to be answered?
