Does anyone know how the hurricane's will impact the fresh squeezed OJ on HAL for the upcoming season?
Weren't the orange crops virtually destroyed?

Depends on where HAL gets their oranges. Florida orange crop has taken a real beating. You may be limited to one glass ! !

I doubt it. The juice oranges are the Valencia variety & those are the most plentiful in Florida. They were almost a 'surplus' variety, since Brazil exports so many juice oranges. The FL growers may get a higher price for all their citrus crops, but that will be the extent of it. Grapefruits were also in that 'surplus' catagory, since so many people no longer can eat grapefuit while taking Lipitor & other similar drugs. I have friends who have grapefuit trees that can't give them away.....
Happy cruising....

I'm on no medications and would be happy to eat their grapefruit :)
I will be happy if the fresh squeezed OJ and grapefruit onboard are plentiful during our upcoming cruise.

Most folks would be surprised at how much citrus comes from Mexico these days.
