Thanks everyone for your good wishes. We are really excited ... and so ready for a break. We plan to have a CC meeting at sailaway. In addition to Cactuslady and us, there are others ... some of whom visit the HAL board and some whom we've connected with on the roll call: nbevins, ZSandy25, dwkoester, trubey, smoky, and 42jacko. Should be fun. I will do my best to post a communique or two along the way. You all have fun here in our absence. And do your prayers/dances/incantations to keep Jeanne at sea.

Thanks, everybody. Bruce and I are excited about our first trip to Europe. I read the Eyewitness Travel Guide for Rome from cover to cover, and am about halfway through the similar one for mainland Greece.

Dee-Dee went to visit with the other greyhounds at the Greyhound Adoption League this morning, so we know she will be safe and well taken care of.

This will shock some of you, but it's less than 24 hours until we get on the plane, and . . .

Yikes! Well, actually we haven't either. We just started this morning putting some of the roll-up things in the bottom of our big case. We both have our packing lists printed and ready for this evening's packing ritual.

Now, if I could just find my passport! :D (Just kidding!!)

Last post! Our ride to the airport will be here in less than 3 hours. We're all packed, and very proud our largest bag is just 56 pounds. (We're allowed 70 by American Airlines for international travel.) "Talk" to you later ... probably from onboard the Prinsendam.
