SOE Question

Hi, Was wondering which ships have been updated w/the Signature of Excellence program? Does anyone know the schedule? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

There isn't any ship really complete with the SOE program. It was just started this past spring on all ships beginning with the PS and S categories and working down. The program is to be completed by the fall of 2005 or 2006. Can't remember which year.

Zuiderdam has this program implemented. Robes in every cabin, bowls of fruits etc.

According to HAL's Press Releases, all cabins aboard the Westerdam have received the SOE upgrades. Additionally, according to HAL press releases, all staterooms on the Volendam and the Zaandam have received the premium plush Euro-top mattresses and the new, high-quality white cotton bed linens. I don't know if the other upgrades have been installed as well.

The Ryndam will be the first ship, other than the Vista Ships, to incorporate all the SOE amenities while she is in drydock in Victoria, B.C. for 11 days - September 25th to October 6, 2004)

My TA received this from her HAL Sales Rep.

the Ryndam will be the first ship in the fleet to incorporate all elements of the Signature of Excellence. The existing Ocean Spa will be completely overhauled and renovated to reflect the Greenhouse Spa concept that exists on our Vista-Class ships? This will involve actually moving steel and physically restructuring the ship in order to accommodate this. The Ryndam will also be the first to feature a coffee bar, library, and listening area

I wonder which ship will be the next one to receive all these amenities.

It is stated on page 11 about the Ryndam - that's where we read it.

KK - can't remember the last time I got a Mariner's magazine I think they forget about us Canadians! :mad:

Yes my TA and her Sales rep are right on top of things. Just found out we got a very BIG discount, which not advertised on HAL's website, for our Xmas cruise. :D
