First time cruizin' and we're flying in to Ft. Lauderdale and traveling to Miami for the Explorer. What is the best way (cheapest?) to travel from Ft. Lauderdale to Miami.

You didnt mention how many in your group. We had 6 adults and rented a stretch limo. THe cost to us was 33per person round trip- this included the time. You can also rent a town car if there is only 2. We used www.larryslimo.com

In May of this year we had 7 adults/lots of luggage and the cost to us was $34per person round trip with ABC Limousine www.limoway.com. Plenty of room. Would rent from them again in a heartbeat.

There is a shared van service that would be cheapest for a small group. I don't recall the name, but it was on a post about a week ago. :)
Just looked it up floridalimo.com for info. :)

Khoney - if you're serious about saving money and don't mind pulling your luggage around, you could also take Tri-Rail from the Ft Lauderdale airport to the Miami airport, and then take a taxi or shuttle from MIA to the port. You can find Tri-Rail using a Google search, and check out their schedules and prices to see whether it's worth it for you.
