Bincoculars

I have heard there are binoculars to use - is this on all ships and all cruises? Where do we get them?

We have had binoculars to use in the past in the suites. If they were not in the room, we just had to aks the Concierge, and they were provided.

The suites have the binoculars, but not the regular rooms. I have a set that is smaller (6x21), about the size of a instant camera, that we take. They are great for looking at the islands as we go by and taking on the days off ship when we go to the "overlook" sites on tours.

Only in Suites. We took ours on our Hawaii and Alaska cruises. Never to the Caribbean.

Yes, only the PS and S suites have free use of binoculars.

When we had the PS on the Rotterdam, our room steward brought us a second pair - without our even asking for them.

We will be in a suite so I will make sure to look for them or ask in the Neptune if they aren't around.

On our South America cruise on the Ryndam we were given some. Did not have to return.

I'm quite sure they expect you to leave the binoculars in the suite for the next folks to use.

I had the same experience as Lefty when I did the South America cruise. All cabin categories were given binoculars to keep.
We were also given a lovely journal in which to record our memories.

A nice touch on both counts.
