Maasdam cabins .......

Hi my parents are going on the Maasdam in July for 35 days and is wondering if the cabins are in nice shape or not as that is one of the HAL ships they havent saided on yet :)

We have cruised Maasdam three times in the last year and our cabin had brand new carpet, bedspread, curtains and upholestery. Excellent condition.

Some of the bathrooms are showing a little wear but are spotlessly clean.

Our standard outside cabin was in excellent shape. Bedding appeared to be very new, and was extremely comfortable.

That's a fabulous cruise we would have loved to have booked. DH cannot take that much time away from his office.....unfortunately.

Jazzsea has started a roll-call thread on that board, and I've also been keeping a list of names, e-mail addy's, and such.
So far I have a list of 14 CC people booked on that cruise. :) Maybe your parents would like to get to know us?

We have also sailed 3 times just this past year on the Maasdam. She is in very good shape.

We do think that some of the sinks, bathtubs, and toilets should be replaced. Our sink had cracks in it and the bathtub had big rust stains in it.

Having working air conditioning is a bigger worry than a dirty toilet.
