I was wondering if anyone ever purchased the "suite elite package" IF so, did you like it? Was it worth it? OH how much is it?
That's it, Thanks

For us, it isn't worth it because we don't use the spa. If you will use the thermo spa it probably is worth it. Some of the features are very nice and if we were into the spa, we would buy it.

I wouldn't mind trying the spa but DH has no interest and I already spend a short time without him at the casino, I wouldn't want to take any more time away from him. After all this is our alone time, that is "together alone" time. (of course this next cruise will include the kids but now it is family time and when the kids are occupied with club HAL then it is together alone time) Do you have any idea what the price is?

price varies with the length of the cruise. Call ship services.

We also are not interested in it -- don't use the spa.

For a 7 night cruise, quotes are averaging $500 - $600 for the Suite Elite Package and for 11 day cruises about $700.

Suite Elite Package (for deluxe verandah suites only) includes:

Access to Hydro Pool and Thermal Suite (have no idea what this costs per day)
Initial Suite Beverage Setup (2 liters of hard alcohol - about $60; plus 2 bottles of wine - about $50)
Explorations Café Coffee Card ($29.90)
Pinnacle Grill Dinner ($30 per person = $60)
Culinary Art Center Class (29 per person = $58)
Premium Wine Tasting ($35 per person = $70)
Internet Card for 100 minutes ($55)
Daily Turndown Truffles ?????
Deluxe Flower Arrangement $30

seems to me what they give you for the price is pretty close to what you would pay if you did it separately. Which case it isn't a bargain. Especially since some things do not interest me. I would save money just by paying for the things I want.
Thank you.

The hydro pool is the most costly item that needs to be considered. The price is considerable and if you are someone who would use the pool enough, it well could be very worth it for you. I think Laffnvegas (Lisa) did an analysis a while ago and it was worth it for her as they love the thermo.

you wouldn't happen to know how much it costs to just use the hydro pool? To me, it sounds wonderful. However my DH would never use it. Do you purchase by the day or by the week?

On our March Noordam the thermal room and hydrotherapy pool was $150 for the first person. $100.00 for each additional person. This was for 11 days. Loved every minute of it, but if you have a port intensive cruise, or dont't want to be away from your husband for long periods of time, this might not be an option for you. My DH loved it and we spent a good deal of time in there together.

Someone posted somewhere on here what the Hydo pool costs for a week.

I never paid attention to the price -- it is for 2 people when you buy this package.

I know my DH will not do it but my parents may go on this cruise and if they do then I might be able to go with them for one day. I have a bad shoulder and my dad has a bad back and this sounds great.

On one thread I read that the thermal pool costs $250 for 2 people for the week on the Oosterdam.

This may differ by ship and itinerary and number of days.

They do sell day passes - I don't know what they cost, but I don't think it's a huge expense - so if you just want to go once or twice during the trip, that might be worth it. Check with the spa desk soon after boarding - I understand the day passes do sometimes sell out.
