When We Get Cabin Assigned For August 9, 2008 Maasdam Cruise?

Does anyone know when we will get our cabin number for our 8/9/08 Maasdam cruise? We booked an inside guarantee and we're hoping that we will get our cabin number soon. Have any other Maasdam 8/9/08 cruisers received their guarantee cabin assignments yet? :)

We never book a guarantee but, from other posts, I've understood you might be assigned a week or so out ... or you'll learn your cabin number at the pier. You can check your online immigration/checkin area from time to time to see if a cabin is assigned and which one.

I have also read where some guarantee's were not assigned until the people got to the ship.

Just keep checking -- but not every 10 minutes.

My cabin on the Maasdam in Apr.was not assigned until 3 days before. Most folks on that sailing had their before that however.

You might try asking on your roll call for this cruise (if there is one). Those posters are your best target audience for this question. Happy Sailing!

We're on a guarantee sailing this Saturday in Venice. I logged on online last week to start the Online Check In process, and that is when I found out my room number. I would imagine HAL can say it could still change up until cruise time, but we were able to find it out a little over a week away.

For our Veendam Alaska cruise on May 30th, we received our cabin assignment the night before we boarded the ship! Hang in there - - you might receive a great upgrade. Have a great trip.
