Where did she go?

Do any of you know which ship Dottie Kuska (Spelling) who used to be the CD on the "Zuiderdam" is currently sailing on?

I was on the Zuiderdam her last week and was told she was going to the Volendam after a lengthy time off. Her last week was July 17-24. She had something like 4 months off. I suppose that takes her into Nov 04

Thanks Julie, she was loosing her voice the week we were on the "Z". that was 4/17-4/24/04

She was hoarse on our cruise as well. I was told by another Pax that she had been an entertainer (singer) at one time but had lost her voice to a throat problem.

Without question, she is on the Volendam now.

Does anyone know how long she will be on the Volendam... we sail March 2005 and were hoping for a better CD... :(

CD's tend to move around quite a bit. If one has a four month stink on one ship, it does not mean they will be that long again. In January of 03, Gary Walker did the World Cruise on the AMSTERDAM. Then he came over and did a few weeks on the Zuiderdam. They he was off a couple weeks and flew to Europe and was the CD that brought to OOSTERDAM out of Venice and on to its maiden voyage out of Rotterdam. Now he is CD on the newly enhanced Ryndam and is on the Mexican Rivera somewhere.

We rarely go to any of the activities where we would see the CD and sometimes don't even know her/his name by the end of the cruise. But we did have the opportunity to be with Gary Walker on several occasions on the Oosterdam and he is a terrific guy and a great asset to HAL.

Without question, she is on the Volendam now.

I just completed the Panama Canal on the Volendam on October 17th and she was not on that sailing, but the CD who was there was disembarking for vacation so she may have replaced him.
