Hi There,
my husband nd I are going on the Island Star on the 12th Feb 2009, Eastern Carribean. Does anyone know if they have exercise classes i.e aerobics or spin? I know they have a gym but wanted to know if they do classes,
Thanks

Hi,
Didn't get involved in any activities in the gym but from what I remember they did advertise a number of classes so you should be kept busy :D
Will be doing a Caribbean trip in late December so will be able to confirm exactly what they are doing on those trips when I come back if you like?
Regards....Steve

I recall the classes being advertised, but they were not always in the gym area. There is also a regular early morning walk around the sun deck, for those who were up and about !!

Hi, although I haven't done the caribbean cruise yet, I'd just let you know what they did on the Star last week to give you an idea: All classes they did appear to be in the Bounty Club and last about 1/2 an hour. Most days they had an Aerobics class at 08:30 and a Pilates class (£5 charge) at various times. They also had Yoga (again a £5 charge) a couple of times, and one session of "Legs, Bums and Tums", and one session of "Body Combat" - a non-contact cardio kick-boxing class (£5 charge). I will let you know in January if they do more in the Caribbean.
Cheers....Steve

Hi Dartsteve,
did you manage to notice any excersize classes while you were on board?
