Wonderful photos, Lois! I wish more people had such good on-board pictures to share. You looked like you were having a good time and I'm sure that even with the few frustrations it was a good vacation for you overall. I wish you many more.

azgymgal...and her hubby and Mom stayed there:D ....when they invited me over for the first time, I walked in, and said "NOT FAIR";) ...and they had me over a couple of more times during the week too:) ....3 very special people!!

Great pictures Lois, thanks so much for sharing them with us. I am also sorry you didn't find HAL and the Zuiderdam what you expected. I still say, and perhaps others will disagree with me, but from what I have read here, the Zuiderdam has its own unique problems, unlike the other HAL ships. Look for my review when I return from the Zuiderdam next March. I'll be able to compare the differences between the Zuiderdam and the Volendam, two different ships of HAL.

I do hope you will give HAL another try and sail another "dam" ship again.
