Hi from pete and cathy! I've learned more in the last couple of hours chuckling at your posts than I could ever have learned from any travel agent! Me a retired U.S Marine master sergeant, although you'd never guess it from looking at me. Cathy, my beautiful bride, FINALLY retired from the Navy as a Chief, so our trip on the Statendam for the circle of hawaii will be a destination we actually look forward to!

Rev Neil, I loved your web site, thanks! We chose HAL for the experience of traditional sailing and from what I've read from you all, we will not be disappointed. We've taken 1 cruise before, it was a NCL Alaska cruise and found it wonderful. This, Hawaii...is a dream I've always had. Well I wanted to introduce us to your community here and to wish you all fair winds and following seas on all of your wonderful adventures!

I have done the Hawaii cruise twice, and loved it both times. Those sea days stretch lazily ahead of you on that trip. They will have lecturers on sea days, and they generally are interesting, so try to attend some. Take plenty of reading material, although there is a full and up to date library on the beautiful MS Statendam. Enjoy!
