Cat. - SY Suite check-in perk?

This has probbaly already been asked many times, ( so forgive me) but does anyone have a quick answer to does a Cat. SY have quicker check-in upon embarking perk?

As far as I know that is only for suite catagories with access too the Neptune Lounge.

With the way the last few embarkations on HAL have gone for us it's not much of a perk IMO.

We lucked into an SC the last trip and hardly noticed the difference in boarding.

Now, the Neptune, Free Laundry, PG breakfast....keep on wishin for that upgrade.;)

The one (and possibly only time ) we sailed in a deluxe suite (SA) on the Westerdam in May, there was no suite check-in line in existence. Our friends (who boarded earlier than us) said it was open for them. But we stood in line with everyone else. There were quite a few perks, that we paid for and didn't get!

So don't count on it even when you do book a suite. You might get special embarkation priviledges and you might NOT.

We have enjoyed an SS and are currently considering making our first move up to an SA, SB, or SC. Could you be more specific about the perks you did not receive? I hesitate to spend extra for something we might not get!
