Have been on the Oosterdam - the cabins are larger than the Princess ships.

Loved the Mesican Riviera - have been to those many, many times.

There is not personel choice dining - thank heaven!

You can request which dining time that you want as well as how large a table you want.

Dining times:
5:45 - upper level - early dining
6:15 - lower level - early dining
8 - upper level - main dining
8:30 - lower level - main dining

Haven't been on Princess. Although I did get to tour the Diamond Princess in Santa Barbara yesterday. Beautiful ship, small staterooms - I saw a BB (I think) - Balcony Stateroom. I will be on the Oosterdam next week so I will let know. Have been on the Mexican Riviera before on Carnival.
