My wife & I will be sailing to the Mexican Riceria aboard the Oosterdam in late January. I'm wondering if any of the CC memebers have taken this cruise, & what were the highlights in each port. Please note that i have a physical disability & and long walks on unever terrain are very unyielding to my aging knees. I understand that the beaches are some of the most beutiful in the world, if this can be confirmed, as well as which beaches are NOT to be missed I would appreciate it. Also any excursions that were taken of cultural or historical significance will also be appreciated. Thanks in advance for any & all input. May ALL your cruises be PLEASANT ones.

WE'll be on the O'dam for the 1/22 sailing, so I can't offer much advice yet, but head over to the Ports of Call board for the Mexican Riviera (or just click here (http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=203)) and there are lot's of folk ready and willing to help!

We're leaving Weds. for the Panama Canal on the Oosterdam which includes the Mexican Riviera. Will post an update when we return in October. I sailed the Mexican Riviera many years ago on Carnival. Cabo San Lucas is beautiful to look at just from the ship! Very picturesque. We will be taking the Sierra Madre/Concordia/Copala tour in Mazatlan, so will tell you all about that. I rememer that Mismaloya Beach in Puerta Vallarta was pretty, but that was many years ago.

Only 3 more days to sailing - 18 days - Panama Canal. Why is it the last few days are the longest. I guess I should start packing to keep myself busy!
