DH is a Dr Pepper junkie. Does anyone know if he will be able to get Dr Peppers on board.

I doubt it too, sorry. :)
My daughter likes it - I don't think she's ever gotten it on board. She can live without it though, but you may want to get your hubby to switch to something else before the cruise!

Is HAL Pepsi or Coca-Cola?

Being a Pepsi junkie, I asked an HAL rep if it is available and was told that HAL has a contract with Coca Cola and therefore no Pepsi products are sold on board. However, she said to feel free to bring my own supply on board to enjoy in our cabin. Brought a 12-pack in a carryon our last 3 sailings with no problem.
Have a great cruise! :)

My son who loves to cruise returns to Texas with such Dr. Pepper despiration it is pitiful. This year we made his dreams of a perfect cruise come true -with a case of half cans in his suitcase!
Have a great cruise!

I prefer Coke to Pepsi, so that is good news.
Actually, I prefer Tequila to both :p

Thanks for the great response. Now that I know the answer, I'm going to have to come up with a different game plan. Since we're flying in to FLL, I didn't want to have to pay extra baggage weight for the DP's. On the other hand, I don't want to watch my DH go through withdrawal. It's a horrible sight. <g>

You can always stop at a store in Fr. Lauderdale on the way to the dock to pick up your Dr. Pepper.

you may want to get your hubby to switch to something else before the cruise! If he is as much of a diehard DP fan as my DIL, that marriage will be in SERIOUS trouble if OP follows your advice.:D

Look at the upside to no Dr. Pepper being available on HAL ships. :)
Your DH will be missing out on all that sugar he won't be drinking; all those calories he won't have to burn up. He'll have to drink something in the hot Caribbean sun so he may find he likes some other beverage. Might even like water??? :) Look at all the money you'd save by not buying a ton of soft drinks.
(Don't get all huffy....just teasing with you.)

If I thought he would replace the DP's with water, I wouldn't worry. But what if he decides to replace them with the "Drink of the Day Specials". At the end of the cruise, I would get to stay on the Zuiderdam. Not as a passenger, however. I would be the new cabin steward for the cabin stewards, waiters, and busboys. Wonder how long it would take me to work off his bill. Maybe the stop-at-the store idea, is a better alternative. I hate to make beds. <g>
