Westerdam - Cabin over the Vista Lounge - Noise from below??

We are considering a VF cabin on the Upper Promenade Deck over the Vista Lounge on the Westerdam.

Can you hear noise from the Lounge?? If so is it objectionable?

Anything else negative about these cabins (other than increased motion from "being up front")?

I had a cabin on Oosterdam in the same location. Heard the rehearsals during the day, and one night the show came into the room. :eek:

It can get noisy with the -thump- -thump- of the bass ...
I couldn't wait to leave the ship. Grab a cabin in another area, the aft are quieter.

We got one of these cabins on Zaandam i think it was, but it was a guarantee so had no choice. Yes we heard rehearsals and the late show! We went to sleep to the songs from the show!

Clueless2, also to keep in mind that the VF staterooms in the Upper Promenada deck all have solid steel verandah railing. So you can only enjoy the scenery standing up and not sitting down in your balcony. We originally looked into this category too but opted for a higher category. Good luck! ;)

You'll definitely hear rehearsals and the shows if you're in your stateroom. We were in 4011 (inside) on the Zuiderdam and heard all of that. It didn't bother us. Your mileage may vary.
