Port Everglades question

I will have my own car but will not be parking it at the pier.

Does anybody know how early I can drop our luggage off at the pier? I was hoping to drop it off early and then return closer to check-in time.

You can drop it off early but it wont be taken onboard until you have checked in ,cleared security and are verifided to be on the ship. This is for security reasons. So really there is no benifits to dropping it off early, I would be concerned it got shuffeled so much that it didnt make it on board when I checked in. But good luck whatever you decide :)

Depending upon how early the ship is totally disembarked from the previous cruise, you should be able to count on dropping it off by 11:00.

They cannot/will not accept it until all of the luggage from the previous cruise is gone.

Of coure you are right! It makes perfect sense what you both said. I guess I was just a little bit anxious just thinking about it all.

Plus you don't want to go through port security a couple of times. Sometimes it can be a very lengthy process as all cars and taxis must show ID and cruise documents.
