Ryndam upgrades

The Ryndam will be going into dry dock in Victoria BC on September 30, 2004 for 17 days for extended SOE upgrades. Upgrades scheduled are enhanced service at the Lido, enhanced food program, new Rosenthal plates in main dining room, vista white table linens, one touch 24-hour concierge service for verandah A & B cabins, Greenhouse Spa expansion, addition of Culinary Arts Center, Sidewalk Café/Exploration Center, exploration & enrichment programs, kids' center & youth program, premium plush Euro-Top mattresses in all cabins, 250-thread-count luxurious cotton bed linens and large extra-fluffy Egyptian cotton towels in all cabins.

In furtherance of that question, can anyone give us the expected schedule of drydocking among the HAL fleet for SOE improvements?????

All ships but the Prinsendam and Vista Class ships I believe will have to be drydocked or taken out of service for construction of some of the upgrades. Any information would be very appreciated!:cool:

Just in time for our 12/11 sailing.....was on the Ryndam 2 years ago. Was a great trip then, this will only make it sweeter. Was surprised to see on HAL's website that our Cat B cabin was now listed at $600.00 pp more than we had paid....guess this time booking way in advance paid off.
