View Full Version : Zuiderdam cabin 5186

After reading these wonderful boards, it seems 5186 is 30 sq.ft. smaller then the side S cabins. Can someone please tell me where you loose the sq.ft.
I could be wrong but the configuration for the side cabins apprears to be a nicer layout.

Hi,
Forget that cabin space difference. THAT balcony was GREAT. I felt like a million bucks on that patio. The room has plenty of closet space, king size bed, and was more then I needed.
If you got a chance to get this cabin, DO SO!!!! if you have anymore questions, I'll try and answer them.......Dennis

We had this cabin in July. The only difference was the couch made up as a twin bed as opposed to the fold out couch in the suite we had last Christmas. I would choose this room again as the veranda is incredible!

We are booked in 5186 in March 05 and have read it is a great location..does anyone who has sailed in it have any pictures..I am surprising my DH he thinks we are in a OV

Pictures would be great! We are in the same cabin (5186) on the Westerdam in December....and it should be exactly the same lay out. Any pics out there?

I agree with other posters if you can get 5186 get it. We've had 5186,5187, and 7133 all great cabins with unbelieveable balconies. We are also going to be in 5187 again in two monthes. 5186 and 5187 have the most sq. footage of the aft facing suites with the wraparound balconies. You won't miss the 30 Sq feet in my opinion.

We will be in 5187 October 2005 on the Oosterdam. We are looking forward to that although it is just about a year away. Anyone who has a picture could upload them into Webshots then we all could view the pictures of this cabin.

We have 5186 and 5187 on Oosterdam booked for January 2nd.
I have seen pictures of 5186 on this site.
Go to "Webshots.com" and type in oosterdam on the search slot.
There are a number of pictures of Oosterdam on the site..just keep looking until you find them.
They were posted by a Cruisecritic member earlier this year. The balcony will blow your mind.
I remember someone saying they hosted a party on the 5187 balcony and had more then 20 people on it.
