Just wondering if anyone knows or has experienced sharing a cabana. There are 3 families, 11 people total. Most of us will be happy on the beach using clamshells if necessary; however, there are a couple of the adults and some of the kids that may need to be out of the sun at various times. We don't intend on having all 11 people in the cabana at one time (don't think we'd fit anyway...:) ). Nor do we need extra drinks etc that come with the cabana. We just want a cool, shady place for anyone in our group that wants it at various times. How does HAL monitor who's using the cabana or does it even matter? As long as there aren't more than 4 people in there at any given time, can it be any 4 of the 11?
thanks for any info on this.

I posted a similar question before and the concensus was that no one really pays attention to who is in it when. It is more for the chairs, mats, snorkel equipment, etc.

No one cares, the cabana guy will only bring food for 4 ppl but we had several friends over at different times and no one said a thing :)

does anyone know how much it costs to rent a covered beach chair on Half Moon Cay?
Or should I just bring my portable beach umbrella?

I believe the clamshells are $9.00 each. I'm not sure how many there are so I'd reserve them asap.
