Can someone tell me about the resort Atlantis in the Bahamas. Do they have an all inclusive deal like breezes or is it all seperate. Would like to very much go and check it out but don't want to spend a bundle. Thanks for your help.

...don't go to Atlantis! Atlantis is for all intensive purposes a really nice Vegas hotel on the ocean, only bigger and more spread out. It's impressive, but IMHO not really worth it.
There are no all inclusive packages at Atlantis, prices are approximately:
- Access to the casino, shopping, and one small set of aquariums, free, just the cost of a water taxi or cab
- Walking access to the grounds and "the dig," basically a small set of aquariums that look like something out of a theme park: about $35 per person
- All of the above plus beach and pool access: about $65 per person
- All of the above plus access to the waterpark: about $110 per person
No, those are not mistypes, those are the actual rates. Food and drink are extra and priced as you would expect at an expensive resort (aka breathtakingly expensive) Many people find booking a room for the day to be a cheaper option. Also, through some sort of grandfathered agreement, the Comfort Suites next door is cheaper and has full access and signing privileges at Atlantis, but is a hike to the main resort (heck, some of the rooms on the resort itself are a hike to the main pools and waterpark!) When pricing the Comfort suites add in a $40/day/room surcharge as well as a $14/person/day fees which won't be quoted in your rate for the room but will be added to your bill. I'm not sure what Atlantis' surcharges are. While people have claimed to wander in without paying, on my trip there were staff posted through the resort to give directions and look for wristbands.
Breezes is a much better deal

Thank you so much. We will more than likely go to Breezes. Your information was much appreciated.
