There is a room in the spa which contains 6 or 7 chaise lounges that are made of some sort of stone and they are heated. You lie on them and they soothe out the sore muscles.

Sounds lovely, how much $$?

My guess - expensive.
Would rather have several drinks and a very good bottle of wine for dinner instead of a spa treatment.

AHhh.... not too expensive ! On the Zuiderdam, to use the thermal suite and hydrotherapy suite it was $15.00 per person per day. Oh my gosh.. the thermal suite was wonderful. The chaises are made from tile and there are floor to ceiling windows to watch the ocean go by. Also in the thermal suite are 3 different rooms, an aromatherapy steam room (with a green tea / citrus scent) a steam room, and a dry sauna. The hydrotherapy pool is a mineral pool that leaves your skin sooo smooth and the pool itself has a chaise like bench to sit on while in the pool. I spent HOURS in these two areas.

Jodie,
Now that sounds wonderful. Not too bad at $15 a day pp. Now tell me....if it's me and my mom. How will they know we're not the same person if we were to take turns?

you're funny ! You have to turn in your room card to get a key card to open the doors to the the thermal and hydrotherapy rooms. You have to check in at the front desk and they are pretty darn good at knowing who's who. I'm a scaredy cat and not one for any public embarrassment, so in my happy world... i'd just pay :)

They might not, but you will.
It was thinking like this that put an end to the unlimited soda card and unlimited internet access. I'd quite willingly turn you in.

When we were on the Zuiderdam last, it was $15 to use the hydrotherapy pool and another $15 to use the thermal suite. So it was a total of $30 per person per day to use both. Hopefully that changed, a little pricey IMO. My husband did make use of the thermal suite only for the sauna/steam room. The "free" sauna was pitiful and not very clean from what he said.

Are you serious? $15.00? Why don't you just get a good glass of wine and lay on the hot pool deck? Let the pool guys peel you off before dinner!!!!Geeezzzzz. The "Snowman" has spoken.

It is quite prophetic to hear of the ploys and extremes that some will consider and will post in public, to try to save a few dollars. The prophetic part comes in when most of the same people who abuse a privilege or service begin crying and posting about the "nickel and dime" charges that result.
You pay more, you get more.
Addendum: To the individual from Florida who thinks two should use one card.
I have been in Florida for some time now, and in the wake of the horrible storms we have had, the city and county governments and many agencies are refusing to give certain free food, ice and voucher packages to individuals without identification. It seems that some are making numerous trips through the lines, or driving to neighboring counties to hoard OR sell the goods to those unable or unwilling to go to the agency centers.
