Just came across a change in policy that apparently was not widely understood. At least, I had never run into it before, and Celebrity / Azamara had not broadcast it.
If you are taking a cruise over a holiday (Xmas and New Year, but not Thanksgiving) your final payment is due, and penalties start 90 days prior to the date of the cruise.
That means that final payment for the 12/16 Singapore to Hong Kong cruise is due on 9/17/08.If you made your booking before this change was implemented, your confirmation will say that final payment is due on 10/7/08.
Please tell your fellow travelers of this change of date.
