I recieved notice that our cruise docs had been shipped, so have been tracking them...they have gone from Houston Tx to Ohio, back to Waco Tx, then to SaltLake City and are now sitting in Boise, Id....hope they get the right Washington...we're AC not DC! (Above California) Tee hee, it made me laugh, evidently they don't use the shortest route between 2 points! :p

Why did they start out in Houston? Mine were picked up by DHL in Seattle and first taken to their hub in Chehalis (WA). From there they went to Salt Lake City, Atlanta, Orlando, and finally a facility about 10 miles from my house. Not the straightest route, but not zig-zagging around the country like yours!!

It's because we deal with a online TA out of Houston...they are great!
I get another hoot out of Chehalis being a "hub" ...tiny town south of Seattle. And no I'm not worried, we don't sail til Oct...just anxious to get my hands on them...LOVE that blue pouch! It's just so funny since I could have easily driven into Seattle to pick them up and saved everybody some money! Hope it's not "worse for wear" when it finally get here!

I may go through the same thing for my Noordam November cruise. Even though I live in Seattle, I booked through an online agency in Florida.
Hmm... I wonder if we could get Frequent Flier Miles from our Docs?

Those documents are sure collecting a lot of miles.

I chuckled too about Chehalis. My Mom was born there back in 1917, when it was even smaller than it is now -- which is darn small!
Our docs come from our PCC in Seattle, so no frequent flier miles for ours :p

Maybe they will collect enough miles for a ship aboard credit;)

It's because we deal with a online TA out of Houston...they are great! But still they had to be created in Seattle ... unless your TA sends you something other than HAL's famous blue pouch. I wonder what route they took from Seattle to your Houston TA?!! :)

Possibly shipped in bulk with other documents to that TA. When they do that you can't trace by booking number.

I have my pretty blue pouch in my hot little hand! It's real...they made 2 more stops Chehalis and Bothell...I like the idea of the frequent flier miles...they've been in more places than I have! :o

Glad you finally received your documents! :)
I have been tracking mine also. Went from Seattle to Ft. Lauderdale last week. Then shipped from Ft. Lauderdale (by the online agency) to Arizona by UPS Ground. :( So I have been waiting for a week now.
I just checked the tracking and they were delivered at 3:04 PM! :D Now I can't wait to get home and start the doc dance!!! :)
