Sorry we did not meet CC'ers on the cruise. Sorry, have lost your names. I understand many of you had airline problems getting to Athens to make the 8:00 PM meeting in the Crow's Nest. I tried and even had the Cruise guide(s) on shore excursions mention it on the buses. Where were you? By the way, I was the person who found Mr. Rotterdam. We really enjoyed the cruise - now up to 150+ days with HAL. Glad we did not continue from Harwich to New York - heavy, boisterous seas. Not nice. I experienced this as a 6 - 12 year old in 1932 to 1939 in the North Atlantic. No stabilizers and much smaller ships - sick, sick for days. Too bad for the 350+ passengers who continued on from Harwich. Will have to keep an eye on the remaining days of this trip. Check www.sailwx.info (http://www.sailwx.info) for ship locations and hurricane data. Great for ocean and sea lovers.

Welcome Back. Hope you enjoyed Rotterdam. She's a beautiful ship.

The site you linked is interesting but it doesn't list many ships. I clicked 'cruiseships' and some came up but only a small number of the huge number we know exist. It didn't show Zuiderdam, for example or Maasdam which we know is doing Canada/New England. Rotterdam was shown.

It'll only show those whoose transponders are working and broadcasting (or are pointed at the right satellite!)
