Has anyone been in this HC cabin?
Just wondering what it is like as it is ours for our cruise in July 09.:D

Any info on the cabins on IOS?
It is a balcony one.
we will be having an electric arm chair, mobile hoist and shower chair in there too. Will we have enough room?
Hubby is very likely to sleep in the arm chair, as he is usaally more comfy like that, so if we are pushed for space would the steward remove the unused bed to make more room for us?
thanks for any help.

Have not been on that ship, but we always take a travel lift and our own travel shower/commode chair. We stow them in the roll-in shower when not in use, which keeps them out of the way.

My wife and I were in this stateroom in May 08. Canaries cruise. We're both full-time wheelchair users (paras) and found there was plenty of room. We asked the attendant to make one or two minor adjustments to the room and this was done with no problem. You may well need more changes than we required so advise you to contact RC Special needs, or your travel agent if you booked through them, to make any requirements known. I'm sure they would remove one single bed and ifnecessary the sofa if you requested.
We had a wonderful time and found all the staff helpful and friendly. In fact we enjoyed it so much we've booked again (twice next year) in the same staeroom. Happy to advise further if you require.
Have a great time.
