The Zaandam is now pulling away from the dock. I am sure he had a great time in San Diego. It did look like a nice day there. It was here in Vegas.

Did you have a good day in San Diego?

San Diego weather yesterday was not our best! Gray is the best way to describe it. My apologies to those of you who were here for the day, but by sailaway the sun peeked out and shined on the beautiful ships. My husband and I went down to SD bay with a bottle of wine and watched the 3 ships sail away. A pretty special day for SD, we are lucky to have one ship in port, let alone 3! The Statendam left first at 5pm, followed shortly after by the Zaandam. Then around 6pm the Sapphire Princess sailed out. Wish we were on one of them!

Had a nice day in San Diego ... the weather was nice and cool, not hot and icky ... I was happy. Did a lot -- too much -- walking. :)

Got a lot of great photos and video of the Statendam pulling out, and then of us on the Zaandam following her. :) I'll look forward to sharing them soon enough -- I hope to post one or two of those on the board once I have a chance to adjust them for internet.

:)

It's not as easy to use the internet from here as i would like. The uplink is iffy at best, and I can't use my normal ftp utility to upload photos to my website ... I have to use the built-in-AOL ftp controls, and that's a pain in the rear. But, it works. :)

Gotta run ... long on minutes today!
