I don't know what the exact drinking age is but from my observations, if you can see over the bar you can drink.

Fojmo, the age is officially 18 in Mexico...but it's 21 on the ship.

Yes, the legal age in Mexico is 18 but they don't seem to care if you're 18 or not...so if you're under 21 and wondering if you can drink in Mexico, the answer is YES...LOL. I actually don't think I had any drinks in Mexico. I was 19 at the time we cruised, but I'm not a real big drinker and I don't like to drink myself to a drunken stupor. I had had a drink on the ship earlier (my fiance, 21 at the time, ordered them for me, LOL) so no drinks in Mexico for me - my limit was one a day. But other people in our party who were under 18 got drinks in Mexico and I saw a lot of people who looked under 18 do the same thing.
