Need help from September Veendam cruisers

Could you tell me if both the Neets Bay and Traitors Cove excursions were availible on your Alaska cruise?

They were when I sailed on the Amsterdam in September of 2002. It was an excellent time of year at Neets Bay. We saw at least 12 bears. It was a fantastic excursion.

It was a fantastic excursion.Neets Bay was great for me too on the Veendam. I'd like to take Traitors Cove next September 10 on the Zaandam. The Veendam only had Neets Bay on my Sept 19th cruise. So I am checking to see how late Traitors Cove was offered so I will get an idea if it is possible.

Yeah....I could do that , but she is the one that told it was too late to see bears at Neets Bay. We saw several.

I do want to say she has been very helpful in many ways....and she is very knowledgeable.

Mainly, the purpose of this thread is to find out if actual cruisers from the September 12, September 5 and August 29 cruises saw that Traitors Cove was offered as an excursion.

There is no way to predict with any certainity. In the past, Neets Bay has been over after the first week of Sept. This year was late overall. Hope for a repeat.
