Heard that the lifeboats block all of the deck 4 cabins view but do they block any of the deck 5 balcony views. Those things are kinda big. Just wondered about the extra height. We've booked deck 5 balcony mid ship (best for sea sickness) but want a good view.

The only views they block from deck 5 are the views of folks walking the open promenade and the water right up against the ship.

We have been on Deck 5 on both the Zuirderdam and Oosterdam Mid ship. The lifeboats are just below the balcony. The only thing they block would be looking directly down. The life boats did not bother me at all. You will have a Great View.!!!!:cool:
